Our first focus is to ask a number of questions to determine the scope of the project and establish budget parameters. With a common understanding of scope and budget we will set up a meeting to visit the house, and go over your wishes, wants and needs.
Next we prepare a preliminary budget relative to our discussions and your objectives, along with a preliminary scope of work and concept drawings.
After this we can discuss materials to fine tune and modify any of the elements. This allows us to prepare working drawings and specifications tailored to your objectives.
- A detailed agreement with options (if any) and allowances can then be prepared.
- With these products you can proceed with the confidence of knowing that we have heard and understood your needs and wishes, and produced a design that captured your dreams.

The time that we take to plan and prepare during the design phase of a renovation project results in a shorter construction time and less inconvenience.

The construction process can be a very stressful and disrupting time for a home owner. We go out of our way to ensure that inconvenience is kept to a minimum. We want you to be delighted with your renovation long after you’ve finished paying for it, that’s why we guarantee our work for a full 5 years after completion. (One year workmanship and materials, two years for mechanical systems and five years for major structural elements).
